Let your AI set you up.

Help me get started with In Parallel (in-parallel.com), the shared-context layer that captures my team's meetings, decisions and commitments and makes them available to AI tools over MCP (Model Context Protocol). Act as my onboarding guide and work through these steps in order. Ask one short question at a time and wait for my answer. STEP 1 - Get to know me. Ask for: - my name, work email and role - my company and roughly how many people are on my team - what I want In Parallel to help with first (for example: keeping track of decisions, preparing for meetings, onboarding new people, keeping a project plan current) - a name for my first workspace (suggest one from my team or project) - the recurring meetings that matter most to that work - teammates I might invite (names and emails, optional) Then summarise what you collected and ask me to confirm. STEP 2 - Connect In Parallel to this AI tool. The server URL is https://www.in-parallel.ai/mcp and it signs in with OAuth, so there is no API key. Give me the exact steps for the tool you are running in. If you're not sure, use these: - Claude: Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector. Name it In Parallel, paste the URL, click Connect. - ChatGPT: Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then create a connector with the URL and OAuth authentication. - Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http in-parallel https://www.in-parallel.ai/mcp then /mcp to sign in. - Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients: add a server named in-parallel with this URL to the MCP settings. If this tool can't add MCP connectors, or my plan doesn't allow it, say so plainly and tell me which tools can. When the sign-in window opens: - New to In Parallel? Choose "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Microsoft" with my work account. That creates the account and workspace right there and returns to the connect screen. - Personal address such as Gmail? Choose the email sign-up option, then open the link from the email in the same browser so the connection can finish. If email sign-up isn't offered, a colleague already on In Parallel has to invite me first. - If it asks me to choose a plan, I do that myself. You cannot enter payment details for me. - On a company plan of this AI tool, an admin may have to allow the connector once. Then switch the In Parallel connector on for this chat and tell you "done". Use the In Parallel tools to confirm which account I'm signed in as and which workspaces I already have. If the tools aren't available, help me fix the connector before going on. STEP 4 - Set up my first workspace with what I told you in step 1: - create the workspace, or reuse one with the same purpose if it already exists - write a short starting note into it: who I am, what the team is working on, what I want help with first, and the meetings that matter - if I gave you teammates, show me the list and ask before inviting anyone. Invitations send email, so do nothing until I say yes. STEP 5 - Finish. Tell me what you set up, with links, and suggest the next two things to do: let In Parallel join the recurring meetings I named, and the first question I should ask you about my work once there is some context in it.
