# Using In Parallel with Zoom

There’s no Zoom Marketplace app to install. Connect Zoom in In Parallel so the Recorder can join supported Zoom meetings on your behalf.

## How it works

1. **Connect your calendar** — go to **Settings → Account → Connections** and connect the provider that contains the meetings you want In Parallel to see. This is what lets In Parallel see the meeting, Zoom link included. See Connect your calendar and notification tools.
2. **Connect Zoom** — under **Zoom** , select **Connect** and authorize the connection. New accounts can also select **Connect** next to **Zoom** in **Getting started** on Home.
3. **Leave Recorder joining on** — each meeting has its own **Recorder joining** toggle. When it is on, the Recorder can join the Zoom call and capture the meeting.

After the call, In Parallel prepares the meeting Notes and any available Actions the same way it does for other captured meetings — see [Review meeting Notes and Actions](https://www.in-parallel.com/help/after-the-meeting-report-review-confirm).

If the Recorder isn’t joining your Zoom calls, see [Troubleshooting: Integrations](https://www.in-parallel.com/help/troubleshooting-integrations). Check the calendar connection, Zoom connection, per-meeting **Recorder joining** toggle, and whether the host allowed the Recorder to join.
